Why is Cloud info not available in Songs view of Library any more?

It seems utter nonsense that to restore the Songs view of my library to the way it was, I've had to create a smart playlist called All Songs that includes all tracks of more than 0 seconds duration. But that's the only way I can think of to restore visibility of the Cloud Status and Cloud Download view options when looking at my whole library in song view.

Why on earth are these two columns not accessible in Song view?

For now, the question is largely moot since Apple Music is unusable until Shuffle by Album is restored.

This is fixed in 26.02. But Shuffle by Album still doesn't work rendering Apple Music almost unusable for me. I've spent the last 20+ years organizing my mainly classical music library so that each work appears to be an album.

Granted, the preferred way to work today is to use the Work feature, but I had already invested about 15 years of mainly manual labor on my way of doing it before this feature came along.

But there isn't a Shuffle by Work option, so it's not at all clear to me that had I adopted the preferred method that I would have been happy with the result.

But this is all a digression from the topic at hand, which does seem to be fixed in 26.02.

But before I move on, I have to ask which genius conceived of the idea of putting a window (with the play controls) in front of the main music window rendering some menu items unusable -- have you tried Go To Current Song?
