Can Music app play controls and time display be restored?

Can the play controls be put back at the top of the MUSIC app?

Play controls buried in the bottom of the list is ugly, cluttered, and super annoying.

And restore the play time and play time remaining. I use that all the time to trim recordings.

On that note: The whole extra rounded windows with rounded inset panels is clunky looking.

The new volume control is like if there was a tiny cupboard in your home hifi that you had to press a button to open in order access the volume knob, featuring a spring loaded door that latches as soon as you move your hand away.

Ultra Annoying. The "playhead" playback progress bar often disguises whether it's even there and has to be moused over juuuust right to make itself useful and naturally reverts right back if we dare move the mouse, so we have to thread that needle again. For some reason.

Fortunately, the space left by the now relocated controls can be used to let me know, for instance, I've 4,630 albums with 192:05:09:33 total time and I'll admit I don't know how I made it this far without knowing that.

No, sorry. Currently there is no way to return the playback controls to the top.

You can provide apple feedback about it, and if enough people do they may consider adding the option in a future update.

Also, this is the Music on iOS forum (iOs is for iPhones), since the question is for Music on Mac, I'll request the moderators move it there for best exposure. Music on Mac - Apple Community
