Apple Card payment from abroad without US bank account

I originally opened my Apple Card when I lived in the United States. Since Apple Wallet is not supported in Korea, I have not actively used or checked the status of my Apple Card for some time.

Recently, while trying to make a donation for a friend in the U.S., the payment went through instantly via Face ID before I realized it was using my Apple Card. Because it was a donation, the transaction could not be cancelled right away.

The amount is small (around USD 50), and I would like to pay it off, but I discovered that I cannot add any Korean bank accounts to my Apple Card because Korean banks do not have routing numbers. I am currently unable to find any method to make the payment from abroad.

Therefore, I would like to ask:

  1. Is there any way to pay my Apple Card balance without linking a U.S. bank account?
  2. If not, would it be possible to link my friend’s U.S. bank account to my Apple Card so that they can help me make the payment on my behalf?
