Difference between 20w adaptor A2305 and A2246 model

Apple's 20w original charger model number is A2305 but the one I got from Flipkart has A2246 written on it. The A2246 model is not on Apple's official page. What is the difference between A2305 and A2246 models? Is the A2246 model fake?

A2246 info posted at Apple:

And the other reply is correct: serial numbers and model numbers and such are not useful for detecting counterfeits.

Even if the printed number were a “real Apple part number” the device might STILL be a counterfeit.

The ‘net is flooded w/ cheap — poorly-performing and possibly unsafe — counterfeits.

If you truly want a genuine Apple component (and for best performance and the safety of your pricy Apple device you should) …

… purchase from Apple or an Apple-authorized reseller.
