Vision Pro (M2) Connectivity Issues with AirPods Pro 3
Since upgrading to visionOS 26 and getting AirPods Pro 3, I’ve ran into frequent disruptive connectivity issues when connecting my APP3s to my Vision Pro (M2). My AirPods work perfectly fine with my iPhone, Mac and Apple TV - the issues happen only on the Vision Pro.
Upon booting up the Vision Pro with my APP3s in, the AirPods often don’t connect automatically - despite automatic connection being the locked default setting on the AVP (why can’t we set this to “When last connected to this Vision Pro”?). When connecting manually by selecting AirPods Pro in the settings, I often just get an error which requires a reboot / reset of both devices to resolve.
Today, activating ANC “blew” the left AirPod with a popping static sound that I’ve never heard in 6 years of using AirPods Pro. Twice. I then couldn’t connect them to any of my other devices until I put them back in their case for a few minutes.
Then, to top it all off, the random AirPods disconnects whilst using the Vision Pro still persist after all this time - albeit not as much as with the AirPods Pro 2.
I have reported this to Apple but wondered if anyone else is experiencing similar issues?
