iPhone 14 not charging after recent update. Multiple devices affected in household.

I’m seeing the same charging failure on three different iPhone 14 units in my family. Is anyone else having issues?

Symptoms:

• Phone will not charge when plugged into a new cable + new adapter

• No charging indicator, or charging starts and stops repeatedly

• All three devices updated recently

Troubleshooting so far:

• Multiple cables and adapters tested

• Different outlets

• Restarted devices

• Cleaned ports

• Battery Health is normal on all devices

My 14 pro max, my daughter’s 14 and my father’s 14 have all had these issues in the past month. We ended up purchasing my daughter a new iPhone 17 early Nov bc we couldn’t have her out alone with a dead phone that would not charge.

The only way I can get mine to charge is with a portable charger which runs out of battery before it can fully charge my phone.

Have there been bugs in the iOS 18 that is affecting charging capabilities in the 14s??
