I forgot password for my old PowerBook G4 15”. Please help.

Thanks. I have the installation dvd but it’s OS 10.3.3 while my old PowerBook G4 had been upgraded to 10.5.8. I used it as a stat up disk but it won’t give me the option of changing the computer’s password. I can mount the hd but don’t know how to change password after mounting.
Did you try to method mentioned in the Macyourself-article?
