Issue with Bluetooth pairing with my current hearing aids.

Hello all,

There is an issue with Bluetooth pairing with my current hearing aids after updating to iOS 18.7.2 (not updating to iOS 26) on my iPhone 12 Pro Max.

Before updating iOS, my current hearing aids paired with Bluetooth without issue.

My current hearing aid details are as follows:

Brand name: NuEar

Style: BTE13

Left aid serial number: 900623773

Right aid serial number: 230512694

I had already updated the Thrive app. But I think the main issue is with the Bluetooth, which can’t pair with these current hearing aids.

Are there any solutions to the issue? I am considering filing a complaint with Apple regarding the Bluetooth pairing issue.

Do you have any other Bluetooth devices you can pair to your iPhone? This is important, because if they pair, yet your hearing aids don't, there isn't an issue with Bluetooth on your iPhone. The problem would be the hearing aids and possible issues with either the app they use or the apps compatibility with the iOS version on your iPhone. Neither of those issues would be Apple issues. For them, you'd need to reach out to the manufacturer of the hearing aids.
