tvOS 26.1 -- Within profiles, how do I display different apps, as well as add/delete apps, without affecting the other profiles in my 'Home'?

Is there is a way to display different apps in different profiles in tvOS 26?

I'm noticing these three things and I'm hoping they can be fixed, OR perhaps someone can tell me what I'm missing as I have also tried looking in Apple Home app:

  1. Please allow a child profile to have different apps from adult profiles
  2. Allow profiles, especially a child profile, to be able to display, or hide apps, without affecting an another profile
  3. AND, also allow each profile/user to have their own app layout (eg dock apps, folders, etc)

If I'm missing something, or how these 3 things above can be customized, I would be grateful to the community to learn how it's done.

Thank you.

No.

The Apple TV Profiles are just limited to the Apple TV app and its interior features, like the Apple TV+ subscription, the Movie and Tv show library and the channel subscriptions. Each Account will have its own library, watchlist, etc...

It has no bearing on installed 3rd party Apps or the home screen.

You can enable Restrictions in Settings ➜ General ➜ Restrictions, then go down to Apps, and set an age limit.

Any app above the set age limit will require the pin you just set up when turning on Restrictions to open.

It will send a notification to nearby Apple devices to approve the opening of the selected app by entering the code, or you can enter it directly on the Tv using the Apple TV remote.

If you wish to see more features like the ones you describe, you can send Apple feedback, and if enough people request the options they may choose to add them in in future updates.
