How do I retrieve deleted text from the body of an active email I am working on.
I seem to have come across the solution in the past and need to be reminded as soon as possible.

You're welcome. :-) Technically it is the "undo" command and in several contexts will undo something you recently did such as accidentally move an item to the Trash or mistakenly renamed a file (so my computer-only experience tells me).
Repeatedly presses of that key may even go back and undo things more levels back.
