Connecting Nikon camera to new iMac without USB

I recently purchased a brand new iMac after having my last one for several years. While in general I love it, I was completely shocked (and disappointed) to realize that there is no place to plug in a USB cable. My favorite Nikon camera requires this to transfer my photos to the computer. So, my question is if there is any way to enable this ... some sort of attachment or anything else?? To be honest my Nikon takes much better pics than my iPhone camera, and I would very much appreciate any ideas. Thanks in advance 💜🙏
