Searches in safari won’t load after iOS 26 update

since iOS 26 update my safari wont load my searches. I’ll go type something in the address bar and press enter and it looks like it’s going to the search but it just freezes with a black screen. I can tap back into the address bar but my search gets deleted and I have to type it again. Sometimes it will load after this but not always. I even updated to 26.1 and still have this issue. Anyone else have this problem?
