How to stop 'software was updated' message and fix search issues after macOS Tahoe upgrade?

Hi,

I am using a mac mini m4 with OS Tahoe 26.1

I have the issue that every time after I restart I get the message that my software was updated.

I try to fix that like it was mentioned in other community quotes, like starting in safe mode, reinstalling mac OS but it is still there, even when I start in safe mode I will get that message.

It drives me nuts also that no search works in notes or mail after I upgraded to Tahoe.

Does anybody has a clue what else I could try to fix those problems?

Perhaps a Screen Shot of this " I get the message that my software was updated. "

In theory and predicated on the Tahoe 26.1 was actually installed

It is difficult to see why this message should be presented

At least on 1 M4 Desktop, 1 M4 Laptop and 1 M2 Desktop each updated to 26.1

Not getting this message

Go figure

I quote from a colleague of mine @ Ingo2711 who seems to have the answer to your question

If this works and hope it does

Any and all credit goes to my colleague

Since my MacBook Pro could not be upgraded beyond Catalina, when this happened in the past, I guess that newer Apple Account features on one device require to log out and log in on all connected devices. Especially when you use Passwords or FindMy, which sync information across different firmware versions. " END Quote
