My new MacBook Air always hot while watching YouTube, and MagSafe cable leave scratches

Hey guys, I just bought the new m4 MacBook Air and or some odd reason its always hot to the touch when im watching YouTube. any ideas as to what could be going on?

Also, I noticed that whenever the actual tip of the MagSafe cable touches the body of my Mac, it always leaves some sort of ding or scratch. Any info on that aswell?

Don't use the MBA on a soft surface like a bed spread or blanket. A hard flat surface will allow the airflow needed to cool the computer since it has no built-in fan.

As for the dings & scratches caused by the MagSafe plug, don't worry about it. It's normal wear. Don't let it touch any parts of the computer other than the charge port. Find something else to fixate on.
