Extracting PDF highlights and BibTeX from Apple Preview / Apple Books

I work in academia and I am storing my PDFs in Books.

I would love for these 2 things to be possible:

• Extract the highlights and notes and citation information (page number, author) from my PDFs (to text or, even better, to a Typst or Latex template) in Preview
• Create a BibTex file from a collection of PDFs (in Books)

Is any of this possible?
