Verification codes not delivered for Apple ID


Hello everyone,

I am writing from my own Apple ID, but I need help recovering my husband’s Apple ID.


For the past two days we have been trying to reset his password, but the verification codes are not being delivered.


When we enter his phone number, Apple says that the verification code has been sent, but no SMS and no phone call ever arrive.

We also tried adding other trusted phone numbers, but the code does not come to them either.


Because of this, we cannot complete the account recovery process.

We also tried using iforgot.apple.com — the system still requires receiving a verification code that never arrives.


I contacted Apple Support through the official app, but the process again ends with Apple trying to send an SMS or call, which is never received.


It looks like his Apple ID may be temporarily blocked from receiving verification codes, and we don’t know how to proceed.


Could someone please advise how we can request manual identity verification or get Apple to unblock the delivery of verification codes?

Choose your country or region - Official Apple Support

Select your country (if you do not see your country, also look for "other" in regions; e.g., "Other Africa"), then "Choose a product". Click the "show" item under each category for more selections. If you don't see one that handles your issue then keep experimenting with selections until you reach one that gets you a chat session or a telephone call and get the representative to redirect you.
