Unable to add Head Tracking to Voice Control commands

Hello everyone,

I’m using an iPhone 17 Pro Max running iOS 26.1, and I regularly use the Head Tracking feature located at:

Settings → Accessibility → Motor → Head Tracking.

I would like to add a custom voice command for this feature via:

Settings → Accessibility → Voice Control → Commands,

so that I can toggle Head Tracking on/off using a spoken phrase.

However, in the list of available actions, I only see Eye Tracking, while Head Tracking is missing. Because of this, it seems impossible to create a voice command that controls Head Tracking directly.

My question:

Is there any way to add “Head Tracking” to the list of available actions for Voice Control commands?

Or is Head Tracking currently not supported by Voice Control / Accessibility Commands in iOS?

I would really appreciate any clarification or suggestions. Thank you!

Hello Azazella

It looks like a feature that has not made it into iOS yet. You are probably already aware you can switch Voice control on and off using Siri and it would be useful to be able to do this for Head tracking and Eye tracking. It's probably best to be able to enable/disable these features through Siri as well as voice control so you do not necessarily need voice control active to enable them.

Have you contacted the accessibility Help Desk to see if they have a workaround? accessibility@apple.com

They can also feedback your comments to the development team.

Also you could make a feature request via Product Feedback - Apple but I would try the Helpdesk first.

Hope that helps - you will likely have to wait for a solution but its worth sending feedback.
