Why aren't app prices displayed upfront in the App Store?

Price of apps in App Store. I notice there has been discussions regarding pricing of apps before purchase but fizzled out in 2024. It should be law that all apps advertised should display price at the beginning of the advert and not hidden. When I use retail outlets for everyday living I expect to know the price before I buy so why not in the App Store?? There is something not right here and verging on the dishonest and deceitful. So Apple, it’s about time you came down on the side of the consumers and get this on going issue sorted.

If you tap on the app in the AppStore, you can see the offers for In-App purchases, if there are any.

Usually if you see "Get" instead of a price, there are In-App purchases available.

App that only have the price shown, are one time purchases.
