Outlook emails on Mac require multiple clicks to open
I am having problems opening outlook emails on my Mac (fine on my iPhone) I have to click on it a few times and then it will open in what looks like a new page

Switch between "New Outlook" and "Legacy Outlook"
This alone fixes the problem for many users.
In Outlook:
Top-right corner → Toggle New Outlook OFF
Let it restart
Test email opening
Then (optional):
Toggle New Outlook ON again.
This forces a UI reset.
