Preparing iTunes for a Windows 11 upgrade
I am soon (Thursday, Nov 20, 2025) going to upgrade to Windows 11 from Windows 10. Are there some steps I need to take to insure a problem-free upgrade with respect to iTunes?

It should not cause any issues as long as you are upgrading your existing installation and not performing a clean install. That said I would still recommend you have a backup of your library. If you don't already back up here is my suggested approach: Backup your iTunes for Windows library with SyncToy - Apple Community.

I will add my two cents in that I upgraded from W10 to W11 over the summer and nothing changed at all for the two computers in my household. As TT2 noted make a backup just in case, and it's probably a good thing to do regularly anyways.
