So, how exactly was it scammed? Did you receive an email, and now your account has been compromised? Is you iPhone locked from too many incorrect login attempts?

Troubleshooting a Locked iPhone:

Without an iPhone Recovery Code that you set up, Only Apple can unlock this --no one else. So, contact Apple Support. Refer to the following...

Hold It Right There!:

Enter the passcode incorrectly too many times, and you'd likely be locked out for good. So, hold it right there, and refer to this link: If you Forgot the Passcode on your iPad, or your iPad is Disabled - Apple Support. It would be the one you've always entered. If you do not know it, then look for it in a location you may have stored it in.

Have any Proof of Purchase?

If a Phishing scam, and you fell for it, then you need to report it, and then secure your account,.

Reporting this to Apple:

Unexpected Messages:

Apple would not send you a message about your account out of no where. Someone is seeking your credentials.  So, having clicked on it, most certainly consider modifying your credentials, Immediately. Pefroming the following is best at this point.

• Modifying: your login credentials (using both a New eMail and a New Password) for Apple and each and all sites
• Associating: a different method of payment to your account
• Enabling: Two-Factor Authentication for Apple ID and for all other accounts that have such an applicable option
