no internet connection after ios 17.7.10 update

17.7.10 broke my wifi (ipad pro 10.5) and none of the steps posted here have helped.

i have restarted, hard reset, reset network settings, reset all settings, reset modem and router, turned off private address. nothing is working. the ipad still won’t connect to the internet and even hotspot won’t work.

websites give a security warning or simply won’t load at all. apps will not open and cannot be downloaded from the app store.

it’s an old device but it was still usable up until this update which has pretty much bricked it.

Given the list of troubleshooting steps already performed, the next step is to reset the iPad to factory settings:

Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support

Otherwise, you would be best advised to seek assistance directly from Apple Support. You can contact the Support Team using the Support link at top-right or bottom-left of this page. Alternatively and perhaps easier, you can initiate and manage your support cases using the excellent Apple Support App - using a different Apple device. If not already installed, the App can be downloaded from the App Store:

You might also visit the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP) - where the technicians will be able to assist with troubleshooting the problem:

I would suggest the following,

Go into Settings tap on General and scroll all the way until it says Transfer or Reset iPhone.

From there it will prompt you another tab where it will show a screen to transfer or reset iPhone and on the very bottom it will have two options Reset or Erase All Content and Settings.

Tap on Reset and it will give you a list of options to choose from when resetting. Note this will not erase any of your personal Data. (Tap on Reset Network Settings) From there follow the prompts and it should reset your network settings and connection settings allowing you to connect to the internet. Note clearing this will prompt you to enter your network password as it forgets stored network's you previously connected to.
