iMac (intel) not booting up after unexpected restart
Hello,
I was reading mails on an iMac (late 2015 intel, 27" Retina, Monterey) when suddenly it went black and restarted, however it didn't take me back to the startup screen, just played the chime and was then stuck with the Apple logo.
I could only turn it off and retry. I tried holding down cmd-r (to get in recovery), alt (to boot from another drive), zapped the NVRAM, reset the SMC, but nothing changed.
Everything worked fine before. Does anyone have an idea what else I could try, before giving up on the machine?
Thanks.
