So, my iPod nano 4th generation buttons don’t work (except top switch) and it’s really annoying, I have to use headphones that have a button so that I can control media, if you could help me with this, that would be great.

Pretty out dated device believe it came out in 2008, not sure what troubleshooting tips there are fix no working buttons.
You can try taking it to an authorized Apple dealer or Apple and have it look at.
