MacBook charger does not light up while charging

My MacBook M4 charger does not have the orange/green light while I plug it into my Mac for charging. It charges the Mac without any issues but it does not show the light while it’s charging. It has only been 4 months since I bought my Mac and it stopped working after 2 months.

MacBook Air 15″, macOS 26.0

To clarify, is the only issue that the status light does not work, or that the power adapter does not charge at all? Regardless, the adapter should be covered under the Apple one-year warranty against manufacturing defects. As such, I suggest that you contact Apple Support directly and they can assist you with getting a replacement adapter.
