How to report an app without downloading it?

There’s an app that’s impersonating a reputable website and scamming others by using the website’s reputation. I want to report it but can’t find the report button. In other forums and sites the answer has been “scroll to the bottom of the page where the report problem button is” but I don’t have that. Is it because I haven’t downloaded the app so I don’t have the right to report a problem that’s been verified by its reviewers? But I don’t want to download a scam app in order to report the app.

I have iOS 26.

You cannot use the report a problem website for an app you have not downloaded.

For any copyright infringement, you should be contacting that website that is being copied where they are able to submit an infringement claim where it will be handled. Only the copyright owner can file such a claim.

The reason why you cannot report a problem for an app you have never downloaded is because that opens up the door for false reviews that have also previously plagued Amazon review. Competitors would hire third parties to flood an item (or app in this case) with negative reviews solely for their benefit. This makes the whole review process meaningless. There is no need for you to provide a review for an app based on another persons review.
