Hue app won’t connect to Apple Home after all other steps of migration are finished. Old hub reset and unplugged. Old hub removed from Apple Home as per the Hue app instructions. Phones and iPads all updated and power cycled. The Hue app says that now it will connect to my Apple Home but refuses without any helpful error messages.

Another person with exactly the same question posted here and got an unhelpful response:

I recently bought the latest Philips Hue bridge but ever since I haven’t been able to get it to work with Apple HomeKit. It always give me an error. What are possible solutions to fix it?”
