Watch a movie you choose from Apple TV

I bought an Apple TV subscription, now I open the Apple TV app, scroll through the different movies, when I select one of the movies and want to watch it, a window opens and says I need to install another app, and after installing that app, the movie plays. I install the app it says, but the movie I selected still doesn't play. I tried this several times with several different apps, but I couldn't watch the movie I wanted. What should I do?

That depends. Is it Apple TV content or provided through a third-party. Your Apple TV subscription gives you access to Apple TV content. It sounds like you are navigating to content streaming from a different service. Most require a subscription or content to be purchased/rented.
