How many of my pictures can I put in a Wallpaper file and have them go through it randomly. I have 80 pictures in a file that is tied to Wallpaper in Settings and I set the option to go through them randomly on a daily basis, but it doesn't seem to go through all of them. Is there a limit to how many picture files I could have cycle through randomly?
The way your settings are, one pic a day would be shown. SInce they are picked at random, the same one could be picked more than one day in a row. I don't think there is a limit on the number of pics.
Are the images in a Photos Album or some other location…?
If the Mac is set to automatically sleep when you walk away..?
Then the wallpaper images maybe starting over and/or re-shuffling before resuming.
Just to add, with 80 pictures, it could take a year or more before all of them were shown.
I was referring to System Settings > Energy > Prevent automatic sleeping when display is off.
Plus if you want to see any change..? Try setting Every Day to 30 Minutes or an Hour.
No, the pictures are not in the photo album, they're in McIntosh HD/users/My Files/Pictures/Desktop Pictures/.
