Apple Music Library Mess after trying to share music HD

On my new MacbookPro, I tried to share the SSD that holds all my music played thru my older Mac Mini. The collection is huge. It seemed to work, but them Music could not find songs. Time Machine refused to restore the Music folder saying individual items were locked and I'd have to open and unlock each of the 45,000+ files. I closed Music on the Macbook and used a back-up (straight copy I made in addition to the Time Machine BUs) to replace the Music on the ssd. My playlists are a mess and I found there are duplicates - a 600GB collection grew to 900GB! After many, many hours, I'm just about finished deleting duplicates when I noticed that I have a choice of 2 libraries. One says My Library and the other says Mac Mini Library! Why are there 2 libraries and can I consolidate them? (I'm not even sure which I've been cleaning up! or if I was working both, different ones at different sittings)
