Nothing random about Sutton Bank or where your funds went. Let me explain. Cash App is not a bank and is prohibited by federal regulations from acting as a bank. Cash App is what’s known as a FinTech and must partner with an actual bank to offer financial services. Sutton Bank is who handles all the fund transfers, debit card issuance, etc.

The funds should be available on your Cash App debit card if you selected instant transfer. If you selected the 2 to 3 day method, funds are transferred Monday through Friday over the ACH network.
