iPad FaceTime Audio Poor Quality

My iPad (10th Generation) has been experiencing poor audio quality on FaceTime and Voice Memos. I have recorded video on the camera with the camera facing both ways and the audio was perfectly fine.

I've gone under the accessibility - Audio & Visual and the mono audio is turned off and the balance is in the middle. I've tried opening the Controls during a FaceTime call and select the different options for audio and none of these options seem to make it any better.

I've updated to iPadOS 18.7.2. Any ideas of anything else that I can try to fix this issue?
