Oticon connection to Mac Studio Apple M2 Max

I am able to pair my new miniRITE hearing aids to my up-to-date Mac Studio via Bluetooth and "Accessibility," but the computer will not stream sound. The hearing devices do not show up in the Bluetooth menu (though various other earbuds, etc., do; none is connected). I have followed the procedure described on the Oticon web site, and it shows that it "sees" the right and left aids. Is there some special connection different from those used to listen through other Bluetooth listening devices?
