Apple TV Screen Mirror Fullscreen is Black with Loading Icon But Works If Power Cycle Apple TV Box

I have an Apple TV 4K 2nd Generation. I am using screen mirroring to cast a video to my Apple TV from an Ipad Pro. When I full screen the video, the video also full-screens as it should on the TV when mirroring. However occasionally, the full screen video does not load and the screen remains black with a loading icon.

The workaround is to unplug the power cord from the Apple TV 4k box and re-plug it back in, wait for it to boot and then mirror, play and full-screen the same video again. Note that the same video that failed earlier works under fullscreen after the power cycle. The Apple TV 4k box seems to have some stability issues here. All subsequent full-screen videos are fixed after the power cycle.

I never unplug the Apple TV 4k. When it is not in use, I simply wait for it to go to sleep. I am assuming the device seems to be glitchy if left on. It apparently needs to be rebooted for it to work correctly. It is starting to get annoying to have to power cycle the box.

Is there a fix for this?
