How to Remove Giant Annoying Saved Recently Icons in Safari Bookmarks

In iOS, on Safari, there are these annoying large Saved Recently icons above the bookmarks in the bookmark menu. How in the **** do you get rid of those icons without getting rid of the actual bookmarks for them? This has to be one of the most annoying and unnecessary design flaws in Safari for iOS. And this problem cropped up after another annoying problem: I accidentally deleted a whole folder of bookmarks in Safari when my finger accidentally swiped to the left and the folder was deleted. No confirmation button to delete them, they just automatically were deleted by swiping. Apple should get rid of that feature so that you don’t accidentally delete bookmarks. This is the second time I’ve done this.
