Final Cut Magnetic mask error lines

Can anyone explain what's causing these vertical lines that are being skipped by magnetic mask tool? I select the region that's in red and then as it's analyzing these lines show up. it has been taking 3-4 magnetic masks to eliminate them on most clips since the last OS update (26.0.1) ? it's every video and it's making the masked essentially useless.
