In Tahoe, Apple Music's crossfade option does not apply on the stop time I've set up for my songs
Hello Apple Community,
Since I upgraded my Mac to macOS Tahoe, I'm encountering what I think are some bugs with Apple Music :
- when I set up manual start and stop time for a song, the player does not display those new start and stop time when I play the mentioned song. The initial duration of the song is still displayed which can be a bit misleading since it has been set up differently.
- it leads to another bug. I have set up a crossfade of 4 seconds between the songs of my playlist but this crossfade seems to be applied to the songs and their initial durations only. Which means when I set up a different stop time, there is no crossfade anymore.
As a trainer, I use Apple Music to create curated playlists where I can select the moments of the songs that are best to motivate my students. But having no crossfades between them clearly deteriorates the experience.
Are those bugs already taken into account? Will a fix be implemented soon? Is there a workaround?
Thank you for your answers!
Best,
Axel
