Why isn’t Screen Time password also required for Settings?

Autistic son doesn’t always use his iPad in an intuitive way. Having Settings subject to the Screen Time password would prevent getting into trouble - getting stuck in guided access for example - when I’m not around. Hacks appreciated if you’ve got one.

iPad Pro, iPadOS 18

Thank you. Done.
Accessibility - Guided Access in particular - is a feature he gets into a loop over and turning it on essentially bricks his device. Setting Accessibility to zero minutes in Screen Time has no effect on actually preventing this somehow.

I understand and it is a valid concern. While you cannot expect an answer from the Feedback sent, it will be read and there have been changes made through the Feedback process. Many users were looking for a way to tone down the Liquid Glass effects in iOS 26, and the update released just yesterday added that option.
