HomePods AND Bluetooth headset (AirPods Max) at the same time

For all of those seeking to listen to headphones while the HomePods are playing too, I have a solution. I bought an HDMI audio extractor, a ZEN Blue receiver/transmitter and a ROKU. You still need the AppleTV! Here’s how it works:

AppleTV to ARC on the video unit (TV/Projector/AV Deck/ETC), HDMI Roku device (I have the ultra) to the input on the audio extractor, The HDMI output from the audio extractor to HDMI on the video unit, Optical cable from the audio extractor output to the input of the ZEN Blue. Now pair your AirPods Max to the ZEN Blue and use the ROKU to watch whatever. All the video apps are on the ROKU too!! Including AppleTV (used to be AppleTV+). I can now listen to the AirPods Max while the HomePods play too. Spoiler alert, this will cost around $500 but you may find less expensive units to do the same work. I just buy from one source as they are so good to me. Of course I buy Apple products!!
