Can this machine run a newer version of MacOS than Ventura?

Processor : 4,2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7

Graphics: Radeon Pro 580 8 GB

Memory: 16 GB 2400 MHz DDR4

Original Title: can I update my OS beyond security updates, I have the current configuration on my Mac Ventura 13.7.8, some of my micrososft applications now requires a further OS update..

Nope, the 2017 year model iMac's can only run up to macOS Ventura.

"What if I don't update macOS to a supported version?


If you're on an unsupported version of macOS, your Microsoft 365 apps will still work but you would no longer receive any updates including security updates. For example, if you're on macOS Monterey, but later you don't update your macOS to a supported version when macOS Monterey is no longer supported, you won't receive any updates of any kind."
