Apple Music Playback Issues - iOS 26

Recently switched to Apple Music as my main music streaming app service and, so far, I’m hating it.

Whenever I click on a song when viewing a playlist it won’t play. I have Bluetooth headphones connected (Sony WH1000-XM6). It’ll appear to play for 2-3 seconds (no audio output) then pauses itself. If I click on the song in the playlist again, the same thing happens. I have to click the play button in the playback menu for it to play through my headphones.

I’ve tried unpairing/repairing my headphones, reinstalling the Music app, restarting my phone and the issue persists. Very frustrating!

TBH, compared to the previous music app, the “radio” / auto playlist from song or artist is terrible.
