Apple TV 4K Sony TV center Channel Problem

I have a Sony XBR-65AG9 tv hooked to a Sony STR-AN1000 receiver. I just purchased an Apple TV 4K (latest model) and connected it to a port on the receiver.

I use the TV as the center speaker on the system and the rest of the Atmos speakers through the receiver.

When playing native Apple TV+ content, I don’t get any signal through the center speaker. I,e. No voices. If I use a 3rd party app such as YouTube, everything is fine.

Any ideas on this one?
