iPhone No Device Connected message on CarPlay Honda Civic 2016

Hi guys, I actually solved this issue but wanted to post the answer online. I was connecting my iPhone 12 to my Honda Civic 2016 and it connected for a second, then if I moved the iPhone it would say "No device connected." I figured out that if you plug in the iPhone before starting up the car, then the connection is stable, and you can move the iPhone around without it disconnecting. Hope this helps!
