Samsung SL-J1660 Printer is not working on macOS sequoia. what should I do?

when I try to print the documents goes to the print queue but it close after complete. but there is no output I have tried installing "Gutenprint" but it still doesn't work.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 15.5

HP acquired Samsung's printer unit in 2016, nearly ten years ago. At this time, neither HP nor Samsung support this product anymore. So it seems likely that your device is obsolete with no way to obtain an updated driver. For such devices, it is only a matter of time before an OS update makes it impossible to use them. Modern printers can often be used without installing a driver but obviously yours is not a modern printer.


I agree with Limnos that it is probably time to buy a new modern printer.
