In Tahoe the music app is not fully functional with the remote app in IOS

Using Tahoe on 3 different computers all have either M4 or M2 CPUs, the music app is not full functional with the remote app on both my iPhone and iPad. Using the remote app, when you play one song in an album, the music app on the Mac does not set up any continue playing songs. One song plays then it stops. However, if you shuffle the album all songs play. Also, the slider in the remote app to fast forward the song, only restarts the song from the beginning no matter where you move the slider to. All MacOS and IOS are at the latest versions.

This is frustrating. The iTunes Remote app hasn't been updated in 5 years. It worked fine before Tahoe and I need that functionality in my music classrooms, especially to move the playhead.

Many other bugs in new music app as well I hoped would be resolved with 26.1, but apparently Apple is dropping the ball on basic functionality with this.
