AirDrop Not Working After Editing Videos in CapCut

Hi everyone,

I’ve noticed that after editing videos using CapCut Mod APK on my iPhone, AirDrop sometimes fails to send the files to my Mac. Regular photos and clips from the camera app work fine, but the edited ones either don’t appear in the sharing list or get stuck while transferring.

Has anyone else faced this issue? Could it be related to video formatting or compression settings in CapCut?

Any advice or fixes would be appreciated.

Thanks!

It sounds like the issue might be related to how CapCut Mod APK exports videos. Some third-party video editors use nonstandard codecs or metadata that can cause AirDrop to fail when transferring files between iOS and macOS.

Try exporting your edited video using the “High Compatibility” or “H.264” option in CapCut (if available) before sending it through AirDrop. You can also try re-saving the file using the Photos app or QuickTime Player to normalize the format.
