Keyboard access issues in Music and GarageBand after macOS Tahoe update

• In Music I have issues with using the enter key to start playing a song in column navigation. Then it will only play the selected song and not the others in the list/album. The next control is disabled, and the keyboard shortcuts to go to the next and previous song don’t work. This used to work before Tahoe. In the recently added section, it works differently. There playback continues after the selected song, and the controls and keyboard shortcuts work. On the other hand there is another annoyance whereby enter also toggles the favourite status of the song! 
• I have given a menu bar item in GarageBand a custom keyboard shortcut which worked fine before Tahoe, but now it only starts working after I have opened the menu that contains the item, which defeats a lot of of its purpose. I think I had similar problems with custom keyboard shortcuts in other applications, but now I cannot reproduce that. But in GarageBand is consistent.
• For years, I’ve had problems with the keyboard shortcut I’ve assigned to open the menu bar. It would work for a while, but then stopped working suddenly. If I changed it to another shortcut, it would typically start working again. But it never worked in GarageBand. I would normally switch between control M and control N. Does that conflict with anything in GarageBand? I haven’t found any evidence of that. But now I have changed it to control F2, and it works in all applications. Let’s see if that continues.
