Delete old post AND this one for privacy

In principle, Apple likes to keep old threads on this forum for future readers with similar questions. Apple sees value in that, especially for external visitors through search engine results. Unless the topic isn’t in line with Apple’s official goals for these forums (e.g. not about Apple products or services); the moderators will edit or remove really inappropriate posts.

Previous participation by can be anonymized by asking for your forum profile to be deleted (all previous participation through that account). Is that what you want?

Usernames for forum user profiles can be changed if needed, upon request, e.g. if that name is not (no longer) appropriate at this time. Then it would still be uniquely linked to your Apple Account, though.

Besides the complete and correct response from Urquhart1244, what does the other post have to do with privacy - at all?

The closest it comes to being personal is you mention a "friend". So, where is that friend. Africa? Toronto? An unnamed island in the Pacific?

There's no reason whatsoever to remove it. No one in the world could possibly derive anything about you or your friend from the content of that post.
