Unchecked music not playing in Music app after updating to macOS 26.0.1

Hi friends!

I think I have just fixed the issue, but here is what I was going to post...

Just updated to 26.0.1. I am finding that clicking on an unchecked song in Music does not play that song, but rather plays the checked song at the top of my list which is the the most recently imported video. If I double click a selected/checked song, it plays fine.

Solution:

I resorted all the files a couple of times, and now it seems to play the selected file, whether or not it is checked. This might help others who seem to have trouble playing the file they want.
