Find My option on MacBook Air

The Find My app shows often my Mac. Does not allow me to change to on. Hence I can’t add my Mac to Find My in devices.

iPhone 15 Plus, iOS 18

Your post is a bit confusing.

If the Find My App shows your Mac, then Find My is already turned on.

Or are you saying it doesn't show your Mac?

On your Mac, you can go to System Settings ➜ Account ➜ iCloud ➜ Apps ➜ Save to iCloud [See All] ➜ Find My Mac and make sure it's turned on.

If it wasn't turned on, and your Mac is now lost, there is no way to turn it on remotely.
